Member Profitability

What is Member Profitability?

Member Profitability is a ratio of the dollar gain/loss and the average daily balance of a member's account and their joint accounts. It can be used to provide marketing information as well as aid in making decisions at the account level to ewaive fees, pay overdrafts, etc.

Galaxy calculates the ration which can be a value from -10 to +10. The ratio displays in a new MPF field which has been added to the member summary line (see sample below).

NOTE: The Member Profitability enhancement feature is available for those credit unions using the IBM system for Galaxy processing.
