Paperless Receipts

Paperless Receipts allow credit unions to generate electronic signed images of receipts which can be generated for members and which can be stored in electronic storage media in the same manner that reports and other documents are stored.

Benefits

How It Works

  1. Galaxy sets up each teller using the Paperless Receipts Software Product to that receipts generated from transactions will be sent the teller's PC rather than a printer.

  2. The software "listens" for the incoming receipt and captures it.

  3. Once the receipt is captured, the software will direct it to a thermal printer on the network to be printed.

  4. The teller then has the member sign the receipt on a signature capture pad.

  5. The software captures the digital signature and writes it onto an image of the receipt created from the captured receipt.

  6. The image is then saved to a directory set up by the credit union (this can be on the teller PC, a file server, etc.).

  7. The member keeps the signed copy of the receipt, and the credit union retains the electronic image of the signed receipt.

  8. The credit union can then move the images to electronic storage media for permanent storage.

  9. The credit union also has the option to reprint any receipt.
